HAZARDOUS WASTE WORKER                                              80 Hours

The class informs workers how to recognize hazards on the job site, as well as how to describe different types of hazards.  Hazard Communication, health effects, types of personal protective equipment (PPE) are covered.  Decontamination procedures, site safety and health plans, material handling and sampling, workplace monitoring, permit required confined space and legal rights of workers on hazardous waste sites.
